Brian Gaines, West Philadelphia’s very own keynote speaker, knows the power of listening while inspiring hearts and empowering minds. From a young age, he discovered his passion for connecting with others through the art of storytelling. As a State Youth Champion and a survivor of personal tragedy, Brian weaves together impactful narratives with unwavering faith and a genuine commitment to fostering vulnerability.

As a man who’s also pushed through the lows of losing a parent when his life was just beginning, Brian combines powerful, anecdotal storytelling, his faith, and his love of creating space for others to model the strength that comes with true vulnerability and a willingness to ask for help when its needed.

His radical transparency shatters through the noise and confusion that educators and students often struggle with while navigating the tangled world of modern life to be a no-nonsense, yet approachable voice of reason.
